HELP, TOO MANY PEOPLE's GETTIN HACKED!!!!!!  Kendril just got HIT a hour ago  who's next??? 7?? particle, too many people are gettin their character's 'stolen, u gotta do somthin

i was just hacked and remorted from lvl 1000. this sucks sorry. i have changed my password now but all that dust to get to 1000 wasted.

How the hell are you guys getting hacked?

If you would use Particle's server join app, you wouldn't have to worry about fake servers..  and the least you can do is check the server IP before you join it.

Kendril is a dedicated Char to Parts server only and yes I use Parts server launcher to log that char into his server... Now what

Its simple, an old friend of mine(whos very annoying) from KoK somehow got ahold of that old script that lets you see the otherinfo field(or so I heard)

I think... this may call for a fundamental upgrade to the TRPG code and login system.

What method to use is a treat to findout though isn't it?

How about some thing like no login or visible messages from the connection can happen until the connected person types in the right combination of "character name" and "password".  TO accomplish this, the character names and passwords would have to be server side and seperate names from the actual name soome one connects with.

This may avoid all the "dupe server" problems people keep having as well.

The question is.... will this happen?
