No, I'm seriously 16 years old.

Whats wrong with being a little ahead of your time?

you said you were 16 like 3 years ago....

What is your first impression of Razore when you see how old he is.

He is only 13.

No it isn't an insult.

The thing is..

As most of you know in your current age status, it is very hard to get deserved respect.

I could walk into most companies right now, and set up/manage networks ect.

Do you really think that anyone would really put that much trust into someone who is 16?

Well, maybe i've always been quite a bit ahead of my time.

You have been "ahead" of your time for some time now, lol.
Yes, its hard to get respect from some of the people in position to hire.  They read the resume and think "Wow, I have to meet this guy" and when you show up they blow you off.
I have just the opposite effect now.  I get the "Well, he looks qualified" and I get there and the "KID" who is hiring looks at my gray hair and says "We will get back to you".  I spent way too much of my earlier years doing things that were NOT productive to my advancement in the computer field.  Now I am in a position that if I do not show exceptional knowledge in my field and have the experience to back it up I wont even get the interview.
I am coming soon to the point where I will have to get a job to feed my wife and son.  I guess Alaska is looking better and better. (Anyone want to come and make igloos with me ?) LOL!

Peace!

Yeah..

Before I applied to my current college, I called up ITT Tech. I told him my situation..
Once I said I was 16, I could easily tell he tried to hold back a laugh. After that, he completely treated me like a little 8-year-old.

I proceded to tell him where he could shove it, and took my business elsewhere.

I defintely dont like the Everts type...but to say that kids are just as smart and expirienced as adults...its just not quite true. Right you are saying that there are exceptionally bright ones out there...but if that goes for the whole world, then that would mean everyone is exceptionally bright...and im evidence that not everyone is exceptionally bright..

life is a journey. No matter what you do or say, there are just some things that cannot be taught. You gotta expirience them, and its that little tidbit of expirience that give adults the upper edge.

But dont get me wrong, I do agree with you.
