Help from you E-Bay'ers
« on: May 4, 2004 12:00 pm CDT »
I just thought of something. Sell stuff on Ebay and make money from it. I would sell my modded PS2 with about 20 games (NHL 2004 - Manhunt - WWE here comes the pain - internation soccer - Burnout 2 - Rocky - Fight night 2004 - Onimusha 2- Rambow 6 2- and a good few more) all for about $500 Canadian or $300 US + Delievery (i know it's a little high but someone would buy it..right?) I also could sell Copied games, i would buy them off my supplier and sell them for a few dollers more changing the currency from Canadian to American making about 30% more with the currency alone. Anyone got any good ideas of what to sell on ebay and explain basicly how it works as i have never used it before.

Well...  Definately don't copy or sell non orriginal copies of anything on E-bay.

Some one might buy that 300$ deal you have there... but I don't really know.

It is LEGAL to Mod a playstation 1 or 2. It is legal to mod a PS2 for someone else in exchange for money.  It is legal to buy copies from someone but only if they are BACKUPS. I didn't say i didn't have all the backups! ANYWAYS...

Lighten the fork up!

Don't tell me to lighten the fork up.

It is illegal to sell a PS or PS2 with a mod chip installed.

Mod chips are illegal to possess in the US (I know you don't live there, but this web site is hosted in the US)

You can not sell something that isn't 100% origional.

I'm just forking telling you so you don't have a reason to unsavory woman when you get banned for the 6th time.

So chill.

It IS legal for you to sell your Modded playstation. Trust me I checked into it. Modded PS2 aren't just for playing Copied games, they are for making your own games, fiddling with your PS2, and a lot of other stuff, anyway this is off the point, i need usefull advice.
(thx Dar :))

You didn't set a reserve?

WTF.. If the final bid is $5 you do realize you have to give it up for $5, right?

Damn man.. It looks like you are going to have to sell it for 99 cents.. rofl..

Oh, and you can't just sell the item outside the auction. You would then be fined, and possibly sued.

If I were you, I would create another account, and out bit him for $40. That way worse comes to worse, you still get to keep the item.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.
