I just realized, that my AIM has been infected with spyware, and when I open up AIM, it re-installs the spyware again.

Smart spyware, eh?

I don't, either. There's a lot to be said for user competency.

Sometimes my hand slips off and I accidentally hit one of those emoticon ads.  After that its a few hours of working to try and remove it.

hmm...  You know you don't need ad aware to manage your system at all right?

Depending on your browser, and version, you can manually remove all the crap you get from the internet with a few double-clicks, select alls, and delete commands.

I watched adaware develop from day one up until just this year before I used it.  How did I clean my brower crap before that?  I have manual made links to the hidden folders and files so I could delete those mofos.

It works.. but it was time consuming.  Now... ie6 finally implemented the clear offline file and cookies and temp folder options... and they actually work!  haha...  But adaware does make it a bit easier that it used to be.
