As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

I knew that Particle goes on (and we have no idea who he goes on as -- BEWARE).

Will the elementals be permanent in the new RPG? Id love the challenge to get some keldrinite. Hell, I only have 2.5 million that I had to mine back after fivewives stole my character and took all my stuff and money. I dont think I can buy much keldrinite with that. :-/

I know that what I just wrote is a little illegible, but bear with me, I just drank 5 cokes at Chilis.

Mmmmm Chili's.  Anyway, in PCRPG4 there will be a lot more ways and opportunities to make cash.  There will also be a constant need to spend it, no matter what your level or remort.  Here are some of the possibilities I am thinking of:

1) Weapon Upgrades
2) Item Wear ala Morrowind
3) Large buy-trade-sell Economy
4) Many many many more items to search for
5) Houses that require regular payments
6) Large bounty system
7) Possible player-owned shops <<Hard one
8) Maybe even taxes - who knows?

Item wear is so annoying. Besides that, it sounds good. Guess it means I would have to mine more often than I want, though.

Shake that ass! Work hard for that money!  :-*

Alright, so, when we buy something from a merchant, that merchant will only have a certain amount of money when you buy/sell stuff from it like in morrowind?

For those of you who dont know, in morrowind a merchant only has a certain amount of cash.  If you buy stuff from it, it will have more cash.  Therefore, you can only sell a certain amount to one merchant before the merchant becomes broke.

So is that how the TRPG economy will work?  Heh, taxes could add to the merchant's amount of gold, and those who dont pay their taxes can be sent to a slave mining colony where they have to work to pay for their skimped out taxes plus fines (1 million mebbe?)

The slave mining colony could be like that one above Vivic City's temple.
