Tribes 2 CD key

Does anyone have/know where I can get a Tribes 2 CD key? I assume this is legal since it's available for download now..

They (fileplanet.com are temporaily out of CD keys.

Just wait on FilePlanet.  It's a big entity and will surely have more momentarily.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

The thing is though.. They are only going to make a set amount of CD keys.. Once they are gone, they are gone.

As I told Deemaunik a few days ago, it would be easier to just make a patch that disables the cd key protection.

Then they would have to spend a lot more money to upgrade their server because they have 20,000 more players trying to get in.  Servers and $$$$ that they are going to need for T:V

What servers would they have to upgrade?

There is just a master server for server queries.. You don't need much for that. And you can donload th patches from fileplanet which would take days of waiting in line.

They wouldn't have to upgrade anything..


Besides.. If you show me a screen shot of more than 1000 players in either game I will give you an e-cookie.. It isn't going to happen..

People are more interested in MMORPGs, UT, Halo, and HL mods.

I don't have tribes 1 or 2 installed, but are you saying 1000 people don't play tribes 2 at the same time?

T2 has never had any more than 600 players at one time, and that was when it was first released.. T1 always had more players.

Umm perhaps you should have waited for the entire list to update, because there was THOUSANDS playing at a time, I went out and bought the game the very 1st day it was released (i traded in about 5 DreamCast games to "Game" to afford it)

I got it when it came out, i gave my copy to my brother when i moved country, but i wouldn't buy another copy or download it for free.
