Grainy is stylistic, but it needs to not blend with the other art.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

I can't really just teach you how to use photoshop..  you should develop your own unique style!  All I did to start was go to tutorial sites and follow their steps.  After a while I started doing my own thing, and then I just kept going from there--you'll see.

Yeah.. for that one I had a little fun with the gradient tool and layer blending.

On my own I went for the faded look =)

Cool effect, though.

I remember the first thing I ever made in photoshop without a tutorial..  it was like a space vortex ring or something.  I was so hooked from then on.. lol

Jonah, make a new layer (text) and in another color (perhaps black) drag it into the center.  That would make it easier to read, but still have the cool effect.

One of the benefits of going to a technical college =/

I get Visual Studio, Photoshop CS, Milkshape, and a couple other programs I don't remember off the top of my head.

No tech college here, unless you consider Achromatos's computer lair to be a college.  Hmmmm funny to think of it in that way, but I learned alot there.  Html, Photoshop, Sonic foundry Soundforge, Vegas Video, Acid Pro, C, C++, 3d gamestudio and much much more.  All for a fee of $0.
