Did I say anything about legality?  The moped's spedometer I was on  registered to 40 MPH, and it WENT 40 MPH.  Why on earth would I lie about that, and why would you even try to argue with that?  The thing said moped on it, so I'm going to say it was a moped.

In south carolina, scooters are classified as mopeds.  If you don't believe me, look it up.

No person shall drive a vehicle at a speed greater than is reasonable and prudent under the conditions and having regard to the actual and potential hazards then existing. '56-5-1520(a) & (c)

Obviously it looks flexible to me..

I wasn't even talking about legality in the first place.  It was a moped, it was 50CC, and it went 40 MPH.  I don't really care what celtic thinks anymore.

the fact remains, a moped can't go over 30 mph, unless it is tuned, If it goes over the 30 on a flat road it is modified and is not a moped anymore, it's a scooter, i dont care what country you live in!
