There are some good freeware sound editor programs out there that let you cut up your music so you can make it a certain length..  just ask google and i'm sure he will lead you in the right direction.

is there anyway i can reprogram the system to play a different length? or is that just going way overboard on the whole topic?

Okay, so is each repeat loop 60 seconds? Or is it different for each zone? Cuz then I might be able to splice a song and stuff...

Just check the length of the wav files in your RPG folder--they are all named the same as the zone they play in.

yeah i have em all in a seperate folder, and i made a winamp playlist out of em....i was able to replace the lvlup sound, its now Secret of Mana boss battle part...but the music is different..

I found a solution!!!

Delete all the wav files, then open winamp and play yur own songs whenever u want.
