Oh, silly me. I forgot that games are the ultimate authority on true, factual information. Forgive me, KoRo.

Cool, it makes use of multi-threading. 50% processor usage instead of all 100% with same output.

Rofl, they're gonna have disk launchers soon enough =X
(Like the ones off of Tribes)
http://http://www.powerlabs.org/movies/thompson.mpg
Video of the disk getting launched ^
"The coil used is wound with 16mm^2 welding cable (multi stranded copper). Click here or on the picture of the coil to watch a short (132KB) video of the entire setup firing a disk at just under 200Joules. You can hear 3 impacts: The first when the disk rises and the coil hits the table and bounces up. The second when the disk hits the roof (I chose this low partial charge so it wouldn't rip chunks from the plaster ceiling:), and the third when it returns to ground. It is interesting to note that here the power switching is entirely solid state; a real achievement for the power "
That one disk was only launched at 200Joules.. the capacitor at full potential is capable of 3KiloJoules.. That's 15X as fast as the launch in the video; imagine how much force that disk would have behind it then.

holy crap, a flying disk would be really lethal, Cheap to fire and probally as dangerous as a missle. I would love to see it being fired at full power "(3KiloJoules)" I wonder if you would even see the disk fly away lol
