If your in a condo, it may be interference from another router on the same frequency (2.4GHz is the most common.)

Also, apparently cordless phones, and microwaves can cuase interference. If you really want this problem gone, you may want to just get a cheap 7ft cat5 cable, if your already using it in the same room, since you'd really only need it for games.

We have Cat5 plugs installed around my house nxt to each phone line. Its kinda cool, I could host killer LAN partys  :twisted:

I use a wireless connection to my desktop computer which is paired with a powerline network, and online gaming seems dandy.

I don't care what settings you use on your router or how you have your network set up, you are going to lose packets.
