Finally finished..

Adam's been working on these songs for about a month and a half now--he started with only the choral voices, and went from there.  I think he did pretty damn good since it's only a hobby and not a job (he hopes to pursue a career in music).

Right click, save target as..  you know the drill.  He says any critiques are welcome, and that he has an epic-sounding track that will be finished in about a day or two.

SacredState was my favorite.

Does he plan on adding guitar riffs into the mix?  Nothing too prevalent, perhaps this will show you what I mean:

Theyre very well done, but don't really sound like "songs"

They sound more like they'd belong as background music in movies or something.


On a similar note, it sounds somewhat like what my brother created, though your friend's works sound much much less like theyve been created on the computer.

Some of his better works (though they still arent necessarily high caliber):

He said if he adds in guitar rifts that they would probably be accoustic.  He thinks adding in a heavy guitar like that would ruin the mood of those tracks, but he has some that something harder would fit.

Haha, wierd that you say that about movies--he wants to do movie soundtracks!

Listened to those tracks you posted NukNuk--they are pretty good for the way they were made.  Whoever did them could probably do some good work with the right tools.

Wow, nicely done.. I really like the vocals, they go along with the songs so well.

Touching on the subject of music.. lately I've been craving ambient trance infused with some Persian attributes.. anyone know of some good artists?

I have one suggestion for the last song "SacredState".. I think he should cut back on the usuage of that one vocal chorus line. It gets a little over repetitive. Everything else sounds great though.

By the way, is it in latin?
