Burning Man

I'll be attending Burning Man this year, and was wondering if anyone else happened to be going.  It's held at the Black Rock Desert in Nevada.  If you don't know what it is, I doubt you'll be going, but just in case there are any of you out there who like experiences of a life time, you should check it out.  It takes place around labor day (Monday Aug. 30 to Monday Sept. 6).

If you are serious about going, let me know and maybe we could meet up in reno and travel to the playa together.  If you are really interested, you should seriously check it out.  This year's theme is the Vault of Heaven--I really think this year will be the best one yet (based on themes from past years).  If you don't like extreme weather conditions, you probably won't like it.  I believe it's either a love it or hate it type thing, so before you decided (if you are serious about it), make sure you read over the site thoroughly.

I'm going with my boyfriend, a few of his friends, and a few of my friends.  2 of his friends have gone 2 years in a row (2002 + 2003), so we have some experience and some cool ideas for our art.

You do realize that whoever throws this thing is making around 2 million dollars dont you.  Have fun at your 1 week corporate art festival.

You have no idea.  I don't care who makes how much money..  it was one of the most memorable weeks of my life, and I would pay twice as much as they are asking any time..  (this is Adam posting)

Drugs aren't a required thing, although you will find a lot here.

Adam went last year and didn't do any drugs, and still had a wonderful experience.
