Q1: D2 - How do you stop that instant death spell from the Oblivion Knights in Hell mode?

Q2: Tribes - Wow?

Q3: Life - Maybe it lives?

Q4: Should we give Celtic to Osama?

Q5: Why is RS2 so laggy?

Death spell? do you mean Iron maiden? you know.. that great spell that reflects your own damage at you.. and you kill yourself instantly?

The only real way to stop it is to make sure you've got good magic resistance..  what class are you?  If you are a paladin, you can throw a point into the all resistances aura..  if you are anything else, all you can really do is run around and try not to get hit =/

What she said, Barbs can get natural resistance too. Knowing what character you're using would help. :P

I've never been instantly killed besides that damn Iron Maiden curse. =/

Then again, I've never made it to hell difficulty, I get sick of the game or the character in mid act 3. =/

But I did beat all of normal with a Sorceress, only cause her spells are pretty.

I'm losing my ass off because of the light saber when it comes to lightning resist, Light Saber - Lightning Absorb 127%.  I have no clue what is up with the cold resist though.

blah, Frenzy + Increased speed is so much more fun.

Anyways, just increase the elemental resistances, you can either try bringing them all up, or focus on a element. (I don't know what spell the oblivion knight is using on you. =/)

Heh, frenzy is nice as well... but I have a great whirlwind setup.  I steal like 27% mana on damage and gain mana from killing people.  So you can whirlwind around a building killing everything at 2k shots+ and just keep going.  Whirlwind can also help because you can go straight through a huge ass crowd of monsters that hurt... ie the minions of destruction (baal's final minions in the throne room).

What about a shield with 3-4 Perfect Diamonds?  Don't diamonds give resist?

Update: An old friend and I have started playing the D2: LoD Hardcore ladder.  He is an amazon, I am a necro.  We are looking for more help because we are still struggling somewhat.  Granted my freak show can tank a malarkeyload of damage.... 1 clay golem, 3 skel mages, 4 skels... yea.. i am the proud owner of a freakshow :D.
