What's with all the old news?

I keep seeing threads come back from the dead that I remember reading ages a go and then thinking "wth... didn't this happen... last year or something?"  Then I check the first post date and indeed they are back from the dead.

:-/

I think that is a waste of time and space.

I just got an idea:

Auto-Lock threads after 3 weeks of inactivity!

I think a module could be worked in to do such a thing.

No setting exists with phpBB boards.
Invision boards has that thought, and besides. I wanted tot alk about CS so i brought back the CS one, no need in making multiple threads. That's spam.

Ziros I am not trying to flame you but I do have to say one thing! Do you really expect all of us to believe that you decided to talk about CS so you search the threads before you posted? People are not that stupid! Sinister was bringing back old threads and I believe you may have followed suit! Just an observation--Not a Flame!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but he did say Module, right?  He wasn't talking about built in settings..  a module could be made easily that locked all threads with no activity for a certain amount of time.
