GE i agree with you on the 2008 election. I am voting for Bush this year because I at least know what he is about and what he does. Kerry scares the living crap out of me. I think Kerry has only HIS intrests in mind to become president. Kerry is worse than the French President

Don't want to take your family into this Ken, but Can you imagin your son going to war because bush had unfinished buisness.  The only one going to war on HIS interests is bush.

i think its hard to be any worse than the ones we have had.  Clinton... Grant... Bush.... LJ...  so far we have a sex scandel, a drunk, an idiot, and a fool who no one remembers ;).  Yea... its hard to be worse than that.

and yes, i'm voting for bush as well just because kerry seems more likely to pursue his own interests more than he would the publics.  although bush hasn't really done an overly great job of not doing that (the wars), at least he blames it all on an "attack on america".  kerry would be just the opposite, "lets blow them all to hell before they can see us comin 'round for the 2nd shot".

The states shouldn't have a president. They should have a "Party" that has the power of the president, 10 people that vote on ALL decisions, seems fair. To many clowns over the years trying to line thier own pockets.

That is a good idea..

But they need one person to act decisively and act quickly.. if something were to happen all 10 of the members would have to hold a meeting. It just wouldn't be as timely or effective.

Have you ever seen in the new series of Star Wars the form of government the use? I think it's called the "Galatic Republic". They basicallly used the same idea as you. The only problem though, was they couldn't decide to vote on something urgent and bad things were happening in consequence.
