I meant the real thing, not the mod goof-ball

I know, the fist isn't a magazine, it's a handle
I am woundering if it looks better with the fake magazine or the handle.

Handle looks better and I imagine plays better due to the more compact size and slick shape.  The fake magazine has a potential to get caught on objects and clothing...

I have never played and never plan to.. but if I had to play paintball to save the world... I would probably take up the challenge.  Can't let all those other creatures go to waste at my refusal to play a paintball game.

Anyway...  I prefer the M1 Garande.  ArRR!!

Dude, take my advice on this one. I played paintball for 3 years and its not worth spending money on.

I played for fun for about a year and 1/2... and i owned a T98 (tippmann 98 custom[shown above w/o the stupid crap]) with custom mods to it, and it had about $400+ into it. I think started getting serious and my friends and I started a team and got sponsored by Warped Sportz (http://www.warpedsportz.com) and so we all got better guns and better equip. I then bought an Impy ($800) and got nitros ($100) and played on the team for another year and 1/2. I quit because i went broke. Even though we were sponsored by a PB company thats big (only 5 in the US), we still had to end up paying for a lot of malarkey... and i blew a lot of money.

Another thing you dont take into account is buying Paint itself. A box of 2000 (case) is normally around $35-50 depending on the quality. 2000 normally lasted me a 1/2 day during a tourney, and so you end up blowing a malarkey load of money on that as well.

Just stating my opinion on the cost. If you want to play, find someone that will lend you a gun and just go buy some walmart paint. Its not worth it if you play seriously.


-PS- if you buy that gun, buy it stock and get a better barrel. The barrels that those come with blow. I got a Boomstick 12" for about $100.

except that its more M4 due to the buttstock.  personally id go with the front grip, gives me more of a special forces M4 SOPMOD feel :)

The grip doesnt do anything to the gun... its just a waste of money. Nothing on that gun helps it in anyway, and the stock T98c barrel is probably better.

If you're looking for a new front grip... check out Expansion Chambers for a T98c. If you decide on getting one, talk to me and i can help you install it (not hard) instead of wasting money on having some idiot put it in for you.

Nextime, try to refrain from compairing a real-life rifle with a paintball marker.

My dad's got a Garand. Hard to believe people a foot shorter than me used to haul that thing around.
