I can't take this malarkey anymore.  I'm taking everything offline for the next 3 days while I recover from the stress and loss of time.  

All of this malarkey with the server isn't my fault.  If you care to know, it all started about 3 weeks ago.  I'll tell the tale.

Saga of My malarkeyty Month
I ordered an amplifier for my computer's stereo system.  After waiting 2 weeks for it to come it, I hooked it up and it was DOA.  It was the manufacturer's fault.  There was nothing I could have done with the amp to make it work.

It took another week or so to get an RMA started.  About this time, my laptop battery arrived.  I've been running with a crapped out batt for about 2 years now.  I installed it and it charged up--but it was also DOA.  D   O   A   It had less than even 1/2 volt across the 14.8v battery.

I got a Radeon 9700 All-In-Wonder in in this time.  The sound gave me trouble because my Line-In jack is dead.  I can't use my capture application to record videos, either.

This pass malarkey starts up about last Thursday or Friday.  I take time off from work to fix the bug and I spent about 3 hours fixing a problem that didn't exist.  The thing I had done the FIRST time (within 1st 5 mins) worked to stop the exploit, but Tribes hadn't ever loaded the code correctly.  I spent another 4 hours furthering the code fixes making it more and more unlikely that PWs can be stolen again.  My official server refuses to load the patch until I restart and close the server app stupid from being shutdown.

Now, somehow, everybody's characters have been RESET?  I didn't do anything with the character files, nor did I have plans.  The files are the most recent ones.  They weren't overwritten.  The only changes to the server are the CPU/HDD.  The files on the server's HDD are the same.  The CPU is now a 2.4GHz P4.  Nothing about it would have rolled the characters back.  I DIDN'T DO THAT.

After all this bull malarkey, I find somebody registered the forums using one of my own emails, so I deleted him.  Later, I remembered that I let somebody do that because he didn't have his own email address.
