I vote No.

I'll not return if a clear happens. I'm not willing to spend all this time again to get a decent character just to have it cleared again later.

Reasons for not clearing:

1.) Large amounts of money will happen again no matter what you do.

2.) Buttholes will still be there. That's life... get over it!

3.) "Haxors" will still screw it up...again, and again, and again no matter how many clears you have to do.

4.) Repetitive clears will chase people away. Why bother leveling much if another clear is coming in a few more months....

5.) etc...etc...

*****  Suggestions for fixing it instead of a total clear:

1.) "Clear" all badges, admin items, massive money, that people have. Reduce the the extremely high RL's that have happened because of the mess. Aren't the admins supposed to be doing this anyway?

2.) Aggresively monitor what people have and do. ENFORCE the rules instead of giving warning after warning after warning and not doing anything about it.

3.)  More PK people. We need them badly.

  Let's use a little common sense about all this shall we. A total clear will do nothing but delay this mess again until the next clear happens. Let's get our heads out of the sand and fix the real problems instead of just "clearing" it away.

   Just my opinion folks. I probably don't know the whole story but I'll be gone if the clear happens...

Bonzai speaks the truth. I'll be gone as well. But I'll leave Tokath behind to wander around k-town as a level 1.  :lol:

And there is not likely to be a clear anyway... not if Particle has any sanity... this joke of a poll is rigged. Tokath currently knows 694 characters... of them, maybe 200 play on a regular basis.... yet this poll only has 43 votes! And of those 43, a large portion are probably illegitimate votes from people who haven't played in months... or votes of the "I'm voting yes then quitting" variety.

Who are any of us to say who got their levels illegally?  People would go ballistic if we just took certain people's RLs, and the money problem won't exist solely because the only reason it happened in the first place was some admin that gave JayJay too many coins.

1.  The money problem won't happen again, because we know what caused it.

2.  We aren't clearing because of "buttholes".

3.  The password hacking has been patched thoroughly.

4.  This will be the last clear happening on PCRPG.

5.  Why would you put a number for etc.?  You have no other reasons to negate a clear.

You are right..  you don't know the whole story.  You should see the updates and modifications we have planned for the server..  if you did, you would probably be leaning more towards a clear.

All in all, if a reset of the characters makes you want to quit because you lost too much work, then the purpose of the game has gone beyond you.  People play to have fun..  if you don't think you can have fun without a high RL character for a month or two, then this game is not for you.

Sorry to see you go, just when PCRPG is about to have so many major renovations.

  Was this promise made the last time also?  
  Is the reason for the clear truely because or all the problems or is it just that some people want to add more stuff to the game but can't without a "clear"?  Kinda sounds like it.
  Sorry if I touch a sensitive area here but jeez..  lighten up would ya!!
