Oh i'm not mad or anything..  it's just you are saying the same thing people said in the last 12 pages of this thread.  No one promised last time that it was the last clear..  this time we are making sure people can't get to remort 200 level 1500 so quickly.  For one, we are severly nerfing people's ability to use magic dust.  I'm trying to get people organized here but it seems as though people are reluctant to help coordinate this.

As soon as all this happened, people came out with how much money they really had..  it's rediculous.  People had 500+ badges of honor..  wtf is that?  What admin would give out that many?  I just think it's gone beyond a point where we can just erase certain things and move on.

the badge thing was a product of duping. Peach did it. I have the IM logs of everything he told me he did to the server.

Ive never given out a badge. I always thought they were banned.

Thank you for explaining it a little for me. It's seems a fairly logical choice then to do the clear. This whole scenario is like a Mobius strip...has no beginning or ending. Good luck...

We are planning on making it so you have to be much higher level to dust.  145 probably, which means we'll have to alter the experience cap thing so you can keep leveling past whatever the limit is.  I think it's 125 or something.  This way, people can't just dust to 175 in a day..  they are going to have to work hard if they want to be higher level than everyone else.

All in all, if a reset of the characters makes you want to quit because you lost too much work, then the purpose of the game has gone beyond you.  People play to have fun..  if you don't think you can have fun without a high RL character for a month or two, then this game is not for you.

Wrong. I don't think anyone plays to have fun more than I do, with the possible exception of NFY. I haven't done any leveling on Taurik or Corona for months... I play to help newbs and to hang out with db, not gain remorts. I'm leaving because I can do neither of these things after a clear (can't help newbs when I'm a goddam newb myself, and db is leaving). lol

corona if not being able to use a healbot is a problem, that can be solved, I mean we could in essence give that char what it needs, as long as at the same time we made it unplayable by normal means.

You can do whatever you want with it. If you give it the skills it needs, it will automatically go about its business.. if you don't, it will run around k-town thinking it's in the den.

I have something to say.

I dont agree with the way things are going right now. People are trashing their characters, asking me to give them stuff and basically just throwing the rules out the window.  All becase they think the server is getting cleared. Is the clear official? When is it going to happen? I want to hear it from particle that he is going to clear the server. Because Im still enforcing the rules.

and another thing. Teh server is dead now. i was on in the middle of the day and there were like 10 people on. In fact I dont think i've seen it go over 10 the whole day.  Im starting to think that no good is going to come of this.

yeah you should have seen the protest that had messages used as names for the packs... all you saw in ktown was "You have no right to take VOTE_NO_TOSERVERCLR's backpack"

I just think that before everyone goes and hands out all their items or gives away a billion coins. Or before admins give out a billion coins in ktown for no raason, you should have proof that a server clear is going to happen.


It's like promising someone that you will give them a million dollars, so they go out and spend their lives saving thinking that they will hve the money to makeup for it...but the million never comes. In the end you are screwed and left even worse than you were before the promise was made.

dont get me wrong I think a clear would solve problems, and I have alot of ideas. but when it comes right down to it, the chances of these ideas taking place or the changes happening to the server are very slim if at all possible. I mean you can keep up the moral for a little bit but what happens if the server is cleared and there are no changes. What happens if the server is not clared at all?


what im saying is. If its going to happen then hurry up and do it. Stop talking about it and do it.  Becasue we are just waisting time getting all hyped up over  nothing...Im not trying to be mean but I see nothing happening. Nothing is changing. So far we are all just sitting around talking about great ideas.

And I know we cant do any of this without particle. But look at it this way. If it's taking this long to get the server cleared how much longer will it take to make the chages to the server?

It's just not fun anymore. And I dont think all this is making it any better.
