Soon I'll be launching uberclockers.com. The launch is still weeks off, but when finished, it will be a place for us and others who find it to make pages showing off their rigs...people as proud of their computers as others of their cars.
I'm not going for anything extremely cutesy or anandtech size. It's just going to be a small area with a forum, user pages, my overclocking escapades (soon to include dry ice), guides and info written by the future community for those that want to give back, and possibly some news.
This won't be a site designed to rival any other site, as it's fairly unique in its goal. It won't just be an OC database or just a forum. It's a place for people who like their computers and want to show them off.
Like I said though--I'm not shooting to make a ginormous site or anything. I just aim to provide an area for our friends and us to hang out and talk computers. Who knows--might be cool. If not, no big deal. It's worth it just for the email addresses.
Let me know if you're in or out on supporting my launch. All you'd have to do is shoot the malarkey on the forum and make computer profile pages. If that sounds down your alley to have those sorts of resources, by all means take advantage of em. It's all free.
IF YOU'D LIKE TO SUGGEST SOMETHING BEFORE VOTING let me know. I can change my plans if I like it to better suit what you (a demo audience) folks would like to see in it. You can always vote later.
