I am enjoying my Radeon 9700 All-In-Wonder.  It beats my friend's GF5700FX in Doom 3, oddly.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

Iv'e had nothing but problems with NVIDIA's drivers, but there are a lot of people who haven't..  I guess it's just conflictions with what I have on my system.  Radeon's drivers, on the other hand, have been perfect..  no problems whatsoever.

I have had zero problems with my ATI Vid card. I hear good and bad things about both cards.
The comparisons are going to be close because everyone has a bias opinion on what is in their rig! You will get the same response with AMD Vs. Intel! BTW AMD is much better! LOL

Nvidia used to be the king of the hill until ATI hit the market hard with its latest line of radeon, pushing Nvidia quite a ways down. If you had asked me before the new ATI's came out, i would have said Nvidia all the way with no question, but now it's clear ATI is quite a ways ahead.
