Anyone here familiar with the law?

Me and my friend recently bought Neverwinter Nights off http://www.amazon.com for him(he lost the cdkey), and when it got there, he opened it, there was newspaper and a kit kat bar. Can we sue for this? Or get a refund? I cant find amazons forking phone number in customer support. Thanks.

Was this a normal purchase from Amazon's stock? Or did you buy from a person.

If it was a normal purchase, then file a complaint to your local Better Business Bureau and the one that resides in the area of Amazon's corperate headquaters.

If it was a person, contact Amazon, since the purchase was done over their provided service.

Keep proof of your purchase handy.

you pretty much have to return it to them. If you havnt eaten the candy already, and hope that they refund your money. Im guessing you are under 18 so if you did decide to sue it would be your parents doing the sueing and Im pretty sure they dont want to waist hundreds in court fees just to replace a computer game.
