I kissed a drunk girl on the lips.
This post, by its very length, defends itself against the risk of being read.

no, it isn't dihydrogen-monoxide but it has all the same physical properties as water.
It's same density.
It's translucent.
Liquid.

I wonder how well it conducts heat.
Perhaps it could be used in PC cooling...
The mother board submerged in it... awesome.

Yeah, you can't use it for the same purposes that you normally use water.  If it isn't toxic, we could use it in swimming pools and people wouldn't have to bring towels :)

You can't use it to wash things, I bet, since it doesn't stick to anything..  and I highly doubt you can drink it.

Put it this way, bud.
It's a liquid...
It's "wet"
You stick your hand it it, it's going to feel cold/hot.
The only difference is, it won't stick to you.
it's won't stay in your hair.
And you can't drink it...

You ever stuck your hand into a large bowl of water with a plastic bad on your hand?
Or anything like that?
That's what it would feel like.

There was a substance that had similar properties produced in the past, but that fire suppression liquid was damaging the ozone layer. The new substance by Tyco is supposed to be environmentally safe.

Sounds like removal of O2 to me.
I wonder what the seepage is on animal tissue.  Might not be real safe there.  Nothing like a fire suppresion feature that removes the air for humans too, LOL!

Due to the nature of the chemicals involved... I would not bet on it as a safe solution just yet... though it does look pretty interesting.

Quicksilver (mercury) is a liquid... but it doesn't stick to anything either... yet it does cause cancer.  It's a whole lot different.

I am still a bit skeptical though.

You're supposed to avoid eye and prolonged skin contact becuase it can cause liver damage, over time.  Leaving it exposed to sunlight and UV will cause it to break down into carbon monoxide and hydroflouric acid.
