Server updates.

I was just wondering when it will happen. Been a long time now.  :'(

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

Question: are you going to do a char clear for the update? or at least a storage clear. there appear to be more and more people getting closer to god status on your server part. it worries me, because people arent taking their privileges seriously enough. they think they have a right to kill and steal and do whatever they want once they hit a high rl. i have advocated the need for a char clear in the past.. and im going to bring it up again. only because the idea of one is needed again.

Not every person who has remorted kills or steals illegaly, so it wouldn't be fair to clear the characters that have done nothing.

blade. you totally missed an entire damn section of this story of killing, stealing, and being assholes.  most people past rl 10, once they hit lvl 174, they are "god like" and they think they own the damn server, its not just the gods, so get off that idea.  i personally don't want my char cleared, otherwise i would go to tpols and finish my remorting goal.

but from what i have heard blade, it might be easier for someone to write a program that resets everyone to lvl 0, and clear all storage, money, etc and start people off from lvl 1 with maybe a set number of coins or a weapon and let them build their storage up again.

but anyways blade, back to the stealing and killin malarkey, there are some gods that don't really care about their power and yes, they kill and malarkey, well, there are very few gods that can control themselves with the power they have and then there are the ones that can't, chefy and al would be good examples here, look at what they have done and what has come about because of them.  and now that i have said that, i might as well say, yea, i know i can be a real pain in the ass sometimes, sorry for all those times, but at least i could control myself from killing newbs and power ranking and everything else.
