I liked the second one the best. They took some time and cleaned up the inside by zip-tieing the cords and all together. looks very clean!

My X-Dreamer II case.

Its excellent for air cooling.  Very efficient.  My temps while idle are as affective as the ambient temperatures (19-22*C).

I keep the cables nice and tidy.

My power supply came with a second LED fan (the blue/pink one) attached to it.  I felt the PSU didnt need that much cooling, so I modded it and removed it.  I now use it on the top blowhole of the system, exhausting hot air out the case.

One 80mm cold air intake on the side.  Two 80mm exhaust.  I've removed the fan guards on the side and the back to have maximum airflow.  I plan on replacing the back 80mm exhaust with a nice 120mm (LED of course).

*edit*
I also plan on adding a cold-cathode in there as well.

I was also planning on doing water cooling, but, if you think about it, water cooling is only as effective as ambient temperatures as well, so it wouldnt do any difference in the way of cooling.  Basicly I only want it because having UV reactant cooling in the system would just look so cool.

Old pic.  I now run 7 rounded cables, 2 yellow teflon wide cables, two more hard drives, a 120mm fan above my CPU fan, a Radeon 9700, a USB add-in card, and a heatsink on my southbridge.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

lucid has that power supply and it annoyed the hell out of me when he kept his case open and his computer on at night. It would shine in my eyes when I was sleeping

The lights from the powmax are nowhere near as bright as the lights from my case front or my fans.  Pure blue LED's are the brightest.
