I checked out isketch and didnt like it.  Its gotta be a game we would both like.

She absolutely loves Age of empires, she used to play it a few years ago.  I would try to connect to her game via TCP/IP DirectPlay (I'm behind a firewall, so I wouldnt be able to send her my IP) but it would never connect to her game!

I tried using MSN gaming zone, but it was only compatible with the retail version.

The Sims...

Girls really dig this one (but its not multiplayer), try getting em into a mmoprg, it may seem they'll be turned off by the rpg element, but get them interested in teh social aspect first, then let them worry about finding out the details on their own (they'll think they beat you at your own game, i.e. learning how to play a game before you do, even though your the gamer). I knew a ton of supposed girls that played star wars galaxies to be the clothing designers, and similiar. Also its a fun game, even if it is a simple sony money treadmill.

tell yo honey to play Final Fantasy XI, that mess is addicting!

i went to a lan house for 2 weeks playing FFXI and busted like 100 bucks on that mess, then i realized, hmm if i bought the game it would be so much easier and cheaper.

Animal Crossing is fun for about a month, after which you realise you've seen just about everything, and it wasn't that much.

Have you tried a dungeon crawl game, like Diablo 1/2, Dungeon Siege, etc?  My wife and I are playing through Champions of Norrath (PS2) right now, and Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance before that; she likes it for the co-op play.  She never cared much for The Sims, but she likes the Monster Rancher (PS, PS2) series.

If your GF liked Age of Empires, maybe you should try another RTS...

how can you see everything there is to see in a month? it runs in real time and there are different events that happen every month. In essence it would take you a year to finish the game completly.

I realize that; I was speaking in a more figureative sense.  Basically, you write letters (ugh) and collect stuff.  After about a month, the newness of the game wears off, and you (or at least I) only fire up the game to do get the fossils for the day, or fish a bit, or trade more furniture, or check Nook's, or check turnip prices... whatever the case was that day, it was a slight variation on 'do lil minigames to collect some or another worthless trinket'.

The NES games were nice, but AC just got old fast for me.

Dark Alliance was easy. Me and my brother played it and beat it in less then 4 or so days.

I've recently introduced my girlfriend to online gaming.  For awhile we have been playing Tetron, a multiplayer version of tetris thats pretty fun, but its gotten a little old and today it didnt work.  I'm all out of ideas for games, so I was wondering if anybody would know any games (free/demo) that we could play?

She's not into violent games, and isnt very good with FPS's (I played her in an old Nerf game, she got frustrated).  Can anybody think of a good game?

*edit*
Her specs are AthlonXP 2000 with a Geforce2, so no real fancy graphics.

How dumb are you Razore?
