UberClockers folding team
« on: September 2, 2004 04:27 pm CDT »
We are still making progress, and keeping with it!  I'm proud so far that everyone who has started folding is still in on it.  Rank: 3391 of 32820

But we need more participants!  I know there are so many of you that leave your computer on at night, just sitting there idle.  Make better use of it and join the UberClockers.com folding@home team.

Download the client: http://www.stanford.edu/group/pandegrou ... ome502.EXE

Enter your desired username
Enter 39013 as the team number

Thanks!

I'm hoping to build me something like this, if I could so for cheap, for folding.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

If intel gets their cooling problems straightened out, I'll be getting their dual core stuff next time around.

Maybe if they stab it with a screw driver...but you can touch it. If you want.

I kissed a drunk girl on the lips.
This post, by its very length, defends itself against the risk of being read.

Thanks, I needed that laugh.

To think I was actually supporting someone who had a MCSE in the field... I told the guy to replace the memory, and the guy asked if he should turn the computer off before he pulls the memory out.

It's allright to turn a computer on with a screwdriver, I used to do it all the time. As long as you touch the right part of the mobo.
