BESLAN, Russia  The bodies of more than 100 people were found Friday in the gymnasium of a school in southern Russia at the end of a three-day hostage siege, according to the Interfax news agency.

Hundreds more were wounded during the siege and subsequent raid by Russian soldiers.

Commandos stormed the Beslan school and battled terrorists holding hundreds of hostages as crying children  some naked and covered in blood  fled through explosions and gunfire.

Earlier, The Associated Press reported that at least seven people were killed and 400 wounded; Interfax put the number of dead in the dozens.

But a British ITN News reporter said he saw about 100 bodies in the school gymnasium where the hostages were being held. The roof over the gym caved in during the violence.

As many as 1,500 hostages, most of them women and children, had been held in the standoff since terrorists seized the building Wednesday

Why wont you people talk about this? I know most of you don't have children and 80% of you are still children or young adults. Whats the conspiracy here? I am sure a few of you will say this was all staged by the government.
This is why we are going after the terrorist instead of waiting for them to come here. I sure as hell would not like to have my child stuck in a school with a radical Muslim terrorist threatening to blow him up.
I am sure many of you Left wing radical liberals are going to take your stabs at me about this and tell me if we just left them alone they wouldnt bother us--Yeah right! If we are more sensitive to the muslim terrorists they will like us more and not want to kill us because of our values and the fact that we empower women in our country!-Yeah right! People if we don't go after them you can bet your ass we will see the same stuff here in the United States! Are you willing to take this Gamble with your families? If you are willing to take that gamble then you don't care much for your family!

What evil said is only partially true for me.  I am very busy and have followed some of what I could.  I do know how you feel Ken, I really do.
This is why I also believe that we should be pro-active and KILL them before they kill our children.

(Do you have too much time on your hands? LOL J/K)

i wake up at quarter to 7 every day just so i can prepare for classes.  I get maybe 2 hours on the computer at night time of which i am usually talking about homework answers with friends from the other halls or even my friggin neighbor because its quicker than getting up and walking over.  I am done with class on fridays at noon though so its a nice break to do all homework for monday/tuesday, get my laundry done, and unsavory woman on these forums about the people with too much friggin time.

side note - I have a damn chem lab on thursdays at 8 freakin o'clock.  8 am with acids... great thinking.

anyways... just take all the countries in the middle east that are aiding terrorists and threaten to nuke them for being ignorant.

education and action pays now, ignorance pays later.

I understand that you guys just woke up today and may not have seen this issue but guess what it been in the news for the last 2 1/2 days!
It makes me sick when terrorists harm innocent children that have nothing to do with this. Guess what it could happen here so thats why we go after them instead of waiting for this crap to happen here.  George W. has the nuts to go after these sickos.

hey here is an idea..

lets just say hypotheticaly that america is not as great of a country that we think it is. And maybe, just maybe, we have our own starving children, child murderes, abusive parents, cracked out mothers and fathers, little kids not going to school. And lets just say that for once we care more about that than whats going on it a country we have nothing to do with.

and here in america instead of terroist groups killing school children, it's the children themselves. if that doesnt say something I dont know what does.

I heard about it from my band teacher either yesterday or the day before....I dont think of countries in terms of society. Instead I think of countries in terms of space programs..For example, Russia vs US: we both have our societal problems, but the US has NASA and Russia...uhm...RSA? (Russian Space Agency? Im guessing here). We both go into space frequently, and the space race was huge between us....

yah, uhm..why am i talking? thats totally unrelated..

Yeah it doesn't say much but just about how absent minded you are! (sorry for the insult but I think the things you comment on are pulled from your ass without and research or common sense!) Children killing children eh?? Yeah talk to the parents Numbnuts! Thats not a govenment issue! You should feel fortunate to live in  a country that doesn't have starving children ect. Your opinion has no substance on this issue --it was pointless- Yes Aphex we all get your point that our kids kill each other in our own country! Maybe if parents would be parents that wouldn't happen. Maybe if the parents would show some conservative values they once had 25-30 years ago it would be different. now days! All they do is gripe about God being in the pledge of he United states! Or better yet maybe if parents would monitor the kids a bit more instead of parking them in front of the TV and computer  just to get them out of their hair! How bout those solutions Aphex--Wonder if you ever tried to consider those since they are so way off base from your liberal view points. I wouldn't be surprised if you made a post later next week with info on how all this was made up by the government to attack the Rebels!
I take it you would rather sit at home! Bring the troops back home! Sit at your computer and wait around till some mass attack comes around and kills another 3000 innocent people. Well answer me this- When that happens what should we do? Should we then strike back? Is it ok then? What if it was you that was involved in the attack or a loved one? Hmmm think about it! Personally I don't want to take a seat and watch some innocent American lives die because people don't want us to be Pro-Active and kill these assholes before they kill us! They hate America for what we stand for do you understand that? It will never change!

Aphex, you cant expect any society of any kind to not have some form of criminal.  And you cant honestly think that the US would ever be free of starvation, drug abuse, et cetera, even if it were "as great of a country as we think it is."

Maybe we don't talk about it because we have enough damn problems of our own to worry about a country in civil war? Have you thought of that? How about the fact that we could be in our own civil war with the same things happening here?

Thats the forking problem. Americans need to ignore every world matter and stay isolated.

Why don't we go and attack Russia now? Yeah, thats a gret idea. We might be able to dig up Stalin and drag his body through their streets too.

Edit:

You think this is some random terrorist attack? The country is in civil war. There is no such thing as terrorism in war.

I kinda agree with UG...USA is sticking its nose everywhere. Unfortunately, if every country were to just break off and be isolated to fend for themselves, we as a planet wouldn't get very far in the end. There's a difference, however, between cooperation and intrusion...I think we've intruded.

I cant believe you even said this.  If you like I can take you to several places with starving children right in your own backyard. It's so naive of you to even say that.  Serioulsy open your eyes and look around!

America should focus on it's own damn problems, instead of trying to fix everyone elses.

Actually what I would REALLY like is to see our government care more about their own country and their own people.

And koro, do you think all this war and death is a way to get far in the world? By killing each other off slowly? I dont think so.
