Very interesting.

"After the attack on Pearl Harbor, Admiral Yamamoto said "... it seems all we have done is awakened a sleeping giant." This is the message we need to disseminate to terrorists around the world. "

I'm starting to think how long it will take before one of two things happen to the US

1. We keep rolling in bed, eventually rolling in our own malarkey and then falling a part as a country when that malarkey hits the fan....

2. We focus on the stopping of terrorism and try to unite the country a little longer than what lasted after 9/11....sadly that may not do the trick.

America is a strong (militaristicly speaking) country with powerful weapons to wage wars on epic scales (not that that's good. I would hate that) The problem is that we're trying to wage war on something we cant grasp. Much like Vietnam: we pulled out cuz they were using guerrila tactics, something that America doesn't work well with. We fight big wars, with heavy front line combat. It's like trying to step on a flea in on a carpet with your new shoes: The flea always manages to survive cuz its so small and doesnt get crushed cuz the carpet is there and ya bad analogy but u get the picture......
