The community.

community is probably #1 for me. Also the ability to have personal items like houses and unique items and such.

Too bad Undergod can't script us an utopia community.  Or can he? O.o

Actually that idea had crossed my mind.. The thing that worries me about T:V though is the map size. Since I really don't have the tools I need yet, it is hard to tell exactly what I can do.

What I have always wanted to do is set up a server cluster that would make one gigantic world (Like RO in a way). Getting the PC power and bandwidth to do something like that though would be harder than creating it all.

I really wanted to try such MMORPG games like Star Wars Galaxies and City of Heroes, but I can't stand paying monthly for something I won't be able to play constantly.

I get enough of that with my insurance bills which are horribly high, and I never use, anyway.

screw that!

12 bucks a month, Final Fantasy XI

It'll literatly destroy your life

LITERATLY

i know people that lose their job and people that fail their schoolwork just to play those things

i think its just the 12 bucks a month is pressuring you to play ^^

If you loose your job due to a video game you have to seriously re-think your life.

Community and teamwork.  Chat is also good though, you get to meet new and interesting people. Teamwork is the number one thing though.

if you have cybersex with someone online and send them pictures off your body and tell them you love them...you also need to re0think your life...

anyway back on topic..In a video game i look for...hmmm a game made by someone that knows what they are doing!

What does that have to do with Aphex?

Anyways, an MMORPG isn't something I'm looking for. I like elements I'm familiarized with, things that made other games play well.

For once i'll agree with nesso. I played non-stop for a long long time. Its the most addicting game i've ever played.... but I started doing bad in school and my parents took my laptop :( /cry

Get a gamecard. I got one for about 3 months for City of Heroes. It's a good game, I got to level 25. It gets kinda repetitive after awhile. But free expansion #2 just recently came out, so I might get back into it. My gamecard expires october 20th. A few of my RL friends have Star Wars Galaxies, I might wait until my gamecard for CoH expires and get that game and try it out.
