I highly doubt everyone who has ever used a bot on there has gotten banned. =/ Especially since it's p2p.

Hah. You will get banned in a p2p quicker then anything imaginable. They don't play around with stuff like that. If you get caught using one, you will be ban.

Blizzard has been cracking down on stuff like that. Farming gold to sell on Ebay, hacking, etc. No second chances, get caught and you're done. And you will get caught

I hate to break it to you guys, but I know of an entire forum dedicated to botting and general hacking(cracking) of WoW, and they seem to be getting away with it quite nicely.

I don't believe they have any hacks to speak of, probably because the packets are very encrypted. Theres plenty of public bots out, auto-loot included of course. Most seem to be for mages, but theres a few out there for melee fighters.

*Edit*

Just found a proggy that gives you "free" tracking abillities, it's also more of a sub forum actually. So maybe there are hacks out there. ^_^

I doubt they will make you aloud to go past level 60.. There's a total of 51 talent points, which can give you upgraded skills and such.. (Not really going to explain it) but, if you can reach the end of the talent tree, like in DiabloII.. Usually you put 31 points in a tree to get the special power. There's a total of 3 talent tree's you can go down. Anyway, they made only 51 talents to prevent you from getting too many talent skills.. For example the mage: 21 in arcane can get you:

Evocation - 1500% mana regeneration for 8 seconds..
Presence of Mind - All spells below 10 second cast time are instant..

And then you can put 30 into fire if you wanted fire power.. Or you can just spill them into arcane or ice.. But, they made only 51, because if you had 52 you could get those two skills ^^ plus Combustion (31 points in Fire) which does 100% next fire spell is a critical hit.. Presence of Mind + Combustion + Pyroblast = instant 1500+ damage, which is basically an instant killer in PvP.  :P

They could raise the level cap but not give you anymore talent points when you gain levels.

Or they could do what they said they are going to do. Make hero classes that you do a quest for once you hit 60

I don't have the game (because I can't afford the monthly fee) but everything I have read about it says that you go up to level 60 then make "horizontal" (for lack of a better word) moves from there.  Supposedly these will make you more powerful but not unstoppable.  Or maybe I'm reading from crap sources.

That's about what it is.
Soon a PVP reward system will be implemented where the more you kill other players (of close level) the more points you get. Once you get points, you will get a rank based on the percentage of points you've gotten. Higher ranks will allow you access to special areas in the main city, the ability to purchase special armors and weapons, and I think you also get special abilities.

You don't get abilities( I think ). Set class pvp armor, random blues for different rankings, and a pvp title..

By the way you'll be wearing the high level set armors for no more then a day considering I doubt you'll keep up that rank.

It isn't daily.  Rankings are compiled weekly.

P.S. - I am about to cancel my account, 60 is boring, expecially when you are guildless and can't do MC/Onyxia, kinda destroys endgame.

I've never made it to the 'max' level in a mmorpg, I prefer to play every class a bit, THEN get sick of the game. ^_^
