Are 2 levels going to really make a difference?

I think the rule that really matters here is if you can target the person or not..  it's not going to be exactly 20%, but it's close enough.  If you can target them, you can PK them..  what's so hard about that?

The hard-coded percentage is 35% of the higher person's level, not 20%.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

sigh... I guess the coded rules are different from the 20% rule described in the actual rules... this will be confusing... I don't know whether to allow PKs just because the mod allows it or not. What to do..

The way I look at it. If the mod allows you to taget that person and they are within the pk limit of 3 a day then it should be ok.

Agreed. Being killed three times in one day shouldn't affect the gameplay. If anything its incentive to play and lvl more.

Note: being LCKed does not = being killed. I had to explain this several times to people yesterday.

Go talk to KisingFish, ask him how much he cares about levels.  I remember KissingFish took 3 weeks to get to level 19 and then he went to fight "Ubers" in Yolanda.

At 168, the lowest you can target is 109.  Either you did this a long time ago or your memory is broken.

No it's not. Stop complaining, you're like 30 RLs higher than Fat_Pix.
