Frantic, that was back in October. The method I was giving people to dupe coins leaves a telltale "so-and-so connected to the game. so-and-so dropped." flood... I have only seen that type of crash once after I gave out the script. The people crashing the server recently are using OTHER CRASH METHODS, so quit trying to blame me for the coin problem.

You added to the "coin problem" by dusting up to 174 with duped money.

Quote from: "Taurik"
I threw the coins he gave me off the map, it's standard procedure.

If that's standard procedure, then what is dusting to 174?

Also, GE, you must think you're pretty slick malarkey blackscreening them. Could you be any more dense?

Please explain how that action, months ago, which only I benefitted from, contributed to the recent widespread duping problem (which by the way was done without my script)? Thanks.

A mistake of mine which I am trying to make amends for by using my cpu and network bandwidth to continuously run a heal/helper bot, work on scripts for admins that help them easily keep track of coin dupers and blackscreen their chars (Taurik included, if they wish) and developing a program Particle can use to scan every character in the temp folder for excess coins, dust, and parchments, in seconds... if he doesn't already have one. Obviously these efforts to make up for what I did are sufficient, or I wouldn't still be here.

It also screws up their exp, changes their password, and jails them forever. If that's not a decisive way to disable a character, what is?

If you can't figure out why it's bad, then I guess you deserve whatever you get.

I guess that particular event only helped you, but then again publishing on your website how to dupe coins probably contributed. The coin problem didn't just start, since you did it there has been duped coins in the server. This is not a recent problem.

wow i didnt know i have to capitalize every first word and put periods after every sentence

so where should i start

"But I guess you're saying that he duped on two chars, then"? - dont need comma there and never start a sentence with but

"Great, now blacksceren" - hmm misspelling?

"What about the char Taurik that was obviously LVLed up with illegitimate dust he got from duping?" - i guess you didnt learn not to abbreviate is not proper

"But he goes out of..." - another sentence starting with but

"Hmm yeah. "- not a complete sentence

hmm someone didnt take english class? if you want me to i can look farther back but i only stayed within this topic

Did I tell you to speak with perfect grammar? It would be nice to not feel like I'm talking to a 9 year old, though.

It's obvious there is a Coin Duping problem on the server, and it's obvious who's behind it. But what i can't understand is why aren't the Admins doing anything? It became obvious when 8ball (Shorty) Had over 90 Million coins stashed in his Storage that he had Duped. HUBBA took away all those coins and gave him -Millions of coins. I have access to that character, and i looked at his Coins, and he has 2 Million coins. If that's not a duper, i'll be damned what is.

Another occurance was, I sold my old RL1 character -CauTioN- to Shorty for 2 Billion coins. At this stage i was completely un aware the coins were duped, and i had no knowledge of Shorty being known for what he is known for. When i had been told the coins were Duped i gave the coins to Taurik, so he could deal with them. Again the admins did nothing major to the Duper.

It is quite disturbing to realise there are many Billions of coins out there. Peach gave out 7 Trillion coins earlier this week, i am going by my resources, now he didn't give them to one person, he gave them to many. So, either the admins start searching for all the chars who have 100's of Millions of coins, or it'll end up like it always was.
People will be dusting from Level 60-101, every time. So Particle i strongly suggest you look through the character files and find out who has all the coins, and do something about it, before the server turns into a Dusters heaven. I am not saying the admins aren't doing a goodjob, i am saying they are going to easy on the Dupers. Clear the *****, before they do more damage (Not that they can do much more).

Have a nice day..

For one thing, I take offense to this message. I am sorry, but I take off atleast 80 to 90 million coins on the average a day here lately from the server to prevent it from being ruined.  I am not just sitting around the server with my thumb up my ---- doing nothing about it. We are working on the problem of the coin duping with what access we do have. Ge, I know of has cleared several characters from the server for duping the coins. Peach is a coward he runs from us when we enter the server. Without password access to the characters admins hands are tied, unless that person is in the server at the time. I you have not read yet, the server will be down on Saturday, hopefully Particle will be able to fix the problem and the server can countinue as normal. Just be patient!

By the way, there should be no "heal bots". The mod was ment to explore and adventure and level legit. The Den as I recall was a big area for leveling 20-50. Having a heal bot, unlegit, est tres stupide.
