Or I have a better idea douche bag: How about you take your own advice and leave these forums? Find some new ones to flame in.

Did I say to find a new forum? I said find a new game. This forum is quite entertaining.

And, if your tiny brain was capable of reading, I stated numerous times that I don't usually complain, and that the PKs I was refering to were done to people other than myself.

None of this changes the fact that you are complaining now. And you stated that the rules are in favor of the PKers, thus against you. Understand?

ok back to the orignal part of the post....shorty and his annoying friends (he might just be double logging...i dont know since i doubt he has friends) are back messing with the server again.....they are flaming everyone (f*** your mother you d*** eating c***wad etc)and not constantly but occasionally crashing us out....once again....when all the admins leave the retards come out to play.....bootybandit has repeatedly been kicked by admins just today alone....why not a ban then so we dont have to deal with him when the admins arent there to kick him....and dipa919 hasnt been around when admins are there....but is even more obnoxious than bandit....he is the one doing most of the flaming...bandit just robs people blind then tells them off when they get pissed at him for doing it.....

may i resuggest that when the last of the admins are leaving...they grant someone they deem trustworthy a low lvl admin or pk status to keep things in order till their return

They are fully allowed to use their judgement.

"Rules are not made to be broken necessarily.  Since there seems to be so much confusion as to what is legal and what is not, I am going to post a slightly revised version of the rules established on 6/13/02.  These rules will cover the basics of what is not acceptable, but please use good judgment.  If you know that something is clearly wrong, don't do it... there is flexibility built into this revised version which allows myself or the server administrators to make the call based on their trusted judgement."

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

Hey  Gstricto!   You  have a vaild point about these guys picking on newbies and over pk/mugging.
I've told hubba before I would try to handle the buttheads so she could do more quests and fun stuff for the server. Well, I think I'll just step the "Bad Cop" up a bit.
So all you out there in the server that think you can get away with the sutff you have been doing.  Think again....   I will uphold the peace here with Hubba's help. I don't need ss of every little squabble. The person's reputation usually speaks for itself.
Let this be a warning..  If you've played here a significant while and break one of the rules or just start picking on a newbie...   your butt is mine and I'm the lawnmower!!
Repeat offenders get no first warning because you already know the rules....  See ya there!!!

stricto, i see your problem with higher RLs pking the lower RL people, but the game would be pretty retarded if all levels are equal.  it gives a reason to even remort.  i mean who wants to lose all their work on their skills while leveling up?  after all, they can only kill you 3 times and thats it.  after that, they're report fodder.

I understand what GStricto is saying. The problem is not the killing three times/or the mugging of two item. The problem is people are starting to constanly pick on one player, or get their buddies to pk them on another character so it would be legal, or they themself will switch to anouther player. I have put several people in jail for this. When they ask why I put them in jail, I tell them it is for harrasment and they need to leave that player alone, because I have warned them about it  before hand.

Meh, you want an admin, stick my old character back into the server, see if people still remember me :).  At least then I would be more compelled to join the server and see if i can figure out the crashes and the duping problems.

Just a heads up. Once you ban Shorty's current IP, there is one more he can use. I don't know it, so all I can say is watch out. Also, if you need someone to help out on the server, I've started playing sorta in a way. Not on anywhere near as much as I used to, but usually every day.

For join spamming:

banlist::add(client::getTransportAddress(%clientId), 5);

Under onClientConnect

Automatically bans everyone who joins for 5 seconds. No more join spamming. Credit goes to WorstAim.

The server is under control. Its just certian things (IE Duping and crashing) that are the main problem. Thier is a pK or an admin on almost the time through out the day..

duping can take some effort to stop o_O.  monitor all sell/buy's, if a large sum of money isn't marked off with an x flag then it is duped unless it qualifies as y or z.  y being admin spawned and z being dropped from another player.  if z then log the transaction, otherwise do nothing.
