Serverside Lag....

I dunno whats been going on today but there's been some horrible lag...not the usual server time out...so i dont think its a duping problem....maybe some issue with the connection......newayz...it seems to have been happening for most of the day.....and i just went to check the server now and there is noone in it....

the server gets a good ping of like 63....then goes to like 353 then to 7-800 something then back down again......frame skip and really jumpy gameplay.....i didnt see any other posts about it yet so i figured i would.....though Hubba knows about it cause she was on for a lil while b4.....newayz just wondering whats up....thnx

yeah i cant even connect nemore it takes forever to get the damn loading bar all the way to the end then i lose connection, wtf lol

He prob didn't awnser b/c it's already been taken care of. Peach and Shorty Are both banned .. and Haven't seen a trace of them sence.

Inc, I wasn't pointing that message specifically at you.  It's a general declaration.

Yeah, they'll probably come back eventually.  However, after wasting that much time to get back on it'll take me about 2 minutes to reban their new way to connect and the cycle will continue.  I have no problem doing that.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

yeah...but the server has still been laggy over the past couple of days.....so i dunno what the reason could be then....

Every 5 minutes or so, it lags for like 3 seconds..  it seems like a network problem.  The same thing happened to me when I installed my router..  it would lag ever few minutes.

Maybe it's Particle's new firewall?

I suppose it's possible the firewall is causing it, but I don't think the lag started until a day or two after it was put on.

well i dunno what it is but its so laggy right now that im the only one in there...well was....it skips about every 3 seconds.....o ghettobot was in there to if you want to count him.....  :(
