I would never let my kids play video games. that's an easy way for your child to develope ADHD or ADD.

tribes is cool. it was never really a huge part of my life. I mean i spend a lot of time online. but im not sitting there playing computer games all day. Im sure if i didnt have a job and was sitting at home all day i would probably become a computer junkie. But once you start working and realize that there is a big wide world out there you tend to forget about computer games.

and yeah people online are so much different than in real life. Ive met some really creepy people from online. They would be nice and outgoing online but then in real life they are this dorky quiet kid. really creepy.

All the people I've met in real life from the internet have been normal, so I must be the scary one. :?

Xanth you are a freak. :P  You are right though..  it becomes an addiction because everything you need to have fun for hours and hours is all in one place (your house).  Take a look at all the people who got to god in like a month when the server cleared, for instance..   :D

you just have to know which type of people you're getting involved with.  Ive actually lived for years with people Ive only known from online. The people I lived with in texas I only knew from tribes. And same with the people I lived with in Oklahoma. Who are some of my best friends now. I met almost all of the orb clan who lived in the central/south. And none of them were creepy.
