I don't play on servers that aren't lasthope..   I'll be damned if I'm going to play on MajorGeeks knowing that 65% of the players can see me through the ground.

More like 5%, and who cares? They're all nubs, I haven't seen anyone better than me on there in a long time. The only one who comes close is OfficeBox.

I havn't seen any duel servers with Lasthope. I don't fear HM, I fear tweaks and CG. :(

Does lasthope pick up any of the Autoaims? Hrmmm.

anyone hear of the teleport hack?  i saw someone just waltzing around on my server teleporting everywhere O_o

I used to play with obox all the time in arena..  he's the only person I know that beats me as much as I beat him.  We both know not to chain eachother :P

There are no client side auto-aims for Tribes.  The closest thing to an auto-aim is done by bots on RPG mod and by KingTomato when he was showing off his server side code for it.

I suppose u've never heard of L.Spiro... he created a pretty crazy auto aim. There used to be a few videos floating around. It accounted for velocity (both sides), ping... etc, it was crazy.

Or autoaims that rely on bmp colour(the arrows above peoples heads). The colour ones are nothing compared to L.Spiro's work, but they do exist.

I doubt Spiro has leaked it to anyone, but there are auto aims out there.

He was a pretty decent duelist too...

I thought Spiro's autoaim was OpenGL based and used the arrows?  I saw a few of the videos of him using it in ultra-ren..  it was pretty forkin funny.  All he did was fly up and start shooting, and the chat window spammed instantly with like 8 kills.

yeah theres probably something in the mod that shouldnt be there because he was teleporting from like half of the map, to control point, to enemy base, back to main base... (realism mod + teleporting = WTF)

The ultra-ren is a crappy vid in compairson to the base vids i've seen. For one.. theres no leading in ultra ren with those nub weapons. The vids i've seen have him hitting ma's from 656 m away and stuff. It was hilarious.

I don't know how it works.. theres alot of speculation, but the arrow ones never work as well as his does, the arrow crap doesn't compensate for anything, at best it would only make the laser rifle work, and cg but only when up close.

The fact is... if you are using that aim and shoot a disc launcher... the aim assumes the person is traveling in a straight line or following the same path.  You can't honestly think this "hack" can't be broken in the same way that sidestepping one way, then the other breaks the plasma turrets on maps.

Yeah, I watched that ren video.  Didn't seem like a great thing...  Took him 10+ shots before he would hit most of the people.  I've seen people with HM do more impressive stuff on that mod.  On top of that, meh...  I do as well from those distances, just wasn't so great to me.  And why doesn't he boost!?  That's the best part about that mod is seeing two people that are really good with boosts and brakes dueling each other while they both have flags.
