Wednesday is graduation for me, but I'm not walking because it doesn't feel that special when I'm facing 5 years of college still (for a masters, including a semester worth of credits from AP tests).

You should go G. You might regret it later, besides it is a time for celebration with friends and family.

Friends... I'm kinda an introvert/loner (there is a Hearts in Atlantis quote I might find later that describes me).  I'll only keep about 3 friends from high school, the rest I will drop and not pay much mind to.  Family... I've already told them that I'm not going and dealt with my grandparent's faces.  It's not like I'm the first of my family to graduate. I'm taking the most difficult classes in the school but I'm so much of a slacker that I'm not an honors grad, so I won't be around people I know while I'm sitting there.  I never got a class ring, I lettered in Cross Country and wore the jacket maybe twice before I realized it just wasn't me.  I could give more reasons, but I'm not too into sharing like this.

You described me almost exactly (even down to lettering in Cross Country). I did go to my graduation, though.
Was it an amazing awesome wonderful tear filled thing? Not for me.
Do I regret going? Not especially. It was just the point where I could say "I'm finally done"
Then I went to college. Now I realize it'll never be done. There's always another class to take, another grade to earn.

Godbless may 2-4 weekend, i'm already drunk and it's only 7 pm, all of my friends are already passed out.

GStricto, I feel you man, I wouldn't call my self a loner, but most people, and the human race in general bore/disgust me. I've only kept a few close friends from highschool, the ones who always had my back, in whatever situation.

I never showed up for grad(I was kicked out, then went do a dif school). Only reason I went to prom was because I was in grade 10, and I was dating an older chick, which meant bragging rights. :P

I didn't go to prom either.  And as for people boring me... yeah, that's putting it lightly.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

Oooh, speaking of fat checks, my grandparents on my dad's side set up an account for me when I was born that was heavily stock based.  They also bought some government bonds for me.  Long story short (18 years of a story) the stock account was recently cashed in to the tune of $18k and the bonds will be about another $1k.
