Last Day of School Forever, and I'm sad. WTF??
« on: June 9, 2005 02:54 pm CDT »
I can't figure this out. It's the last day of school. Grad is in 2 days. When school get's out, I go around and try to talk to some friends. One girl (who I am VERY much attracted to) I was about to talk to runs off and her friends say she's going off to lunch, so I just say "okay..." turn around and walk away. I get in my car,  I go home. I don't say goodbye to anyone. I'm just so sad. I feel like I have no friends (Dont even think about using this to flame my guts out). I'm just a sad lonely 18yr old.

Dude, most highschoolers are way too immature.. you shouldn't let unimportant acquaintances that you'll more than likely never talk to again bring you down.  Don't look at this as the end, look at it as the beginning to something much better... college!

I would agree with Newbie on some levels, but it would be good to point out that you are not worthless just because people don't know howyou feel.  It's hard to make your own feeling evident in the open sometimes... so don't be ashamed.  College (of just work life) can be a place to find your own manner of expression which says how you feel inside; just don't be a creep about it... :-)

I must agree with Newbie and Lidge.  I must also point out that I felt the same way as you to a certain extent... difference being that I know who my really good friends are, the ones I will keep now that high school is over.

So I had that sense of melancholy and lonliness (wow, that doesn't look correct at all) but from a standpoint that it was good as Lidge said.  I knew I wouldn't see hundreds of people ever again and that wasn't such a great realization, but on the same note, I knew I wouldn't see hundreds of people again (if that makes any sense).

I'm sure most of you have had a bad relationship that you were sad to break up with, but once you were out of it, you felt so free.  I'm probably doing a horrible job at explaining this, but it's one of those feelings most people know and nobody can really describe.  (Like the feeling of sitting in a warm chair you know has been used in the last 5 min.)

I felt the same way after high school ended.  It'll fade in time (weeks), but the realitization will stay with you until you begin college probably.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

I think it's more than that...
I'll never be able to go back and do things over, the RIGHT way
And I'll be forever unable to forgive myself for some of the things I did
It was my fault...it was all my fault

Shut the fork up. You're damn right it's all your fault. I stayed out of this until that last post. Stop being a dipmalarkey and get off the computer and fix this yourself.

If you want to continue to be a douche I reccomend http://www.livejournal.com , faggot.

I would have to agree with Jonah in a more milder fashion.. I understand how you feel, but that doesn't mean you have to loathe in your self-pity and express your regrets over an online forum; only you can change things..  but lying around in self-pity won't change a thing.

On the same note, expressing your regrets on an online forum provides someone with a place to be anonymous while still getting help or outside opinions that you can then use in your life.

Well considering that I can't change whats going on, the only thing I can do is wait. There's nothing I can do specifically to fix it. So why wait and be miserable all by yourself, when you can talk about it without worry of something going wrong? Talking about problems does help ya know...at least, it helps for me =\ I talk a lot if I have problems. Helps me cope.

1. I graduated May 24, 2005.
2. My life has slowly but surely deteoriated every day since graduation night.
3. Life sucks after highschool.
4. Everyone I talk to who even who are older say their life has sucked since graduation.
5. Get over it, get a job, find a girl, get laid.
6. Be mean to the girl, cuss her out, if she calls you back, you will know she wants/cares about you.
7. Don't be nice to girls. 7/10 times it doesn't work, my best friend is mean as fork and can get almost any girl he wants, None of us see how he does it. (It could be cause hes rich though.)
