How many girlfriends have you had? I'm gonna guess not too many... and how long was this relationship?

Personally I couldn't wait to get out of highschool, and get into College, high school is so boring. The girls were especially boring, I was often chasing older women, still am. ^_^

Gross! Aren't you like 30? Wouldn't that mean you go for women around their 40s?!?

But yeah, I can only see my life going in a more positive direction now that I'm out of highschool.. I hated my nazi-camp of a highschool, and my real friends are the ones I've known outside of school. I can understand how those kids who went to a small-town highschool where everyone knew everyone actually missed it, and had regrets because that's usually the prime of their life and they are used to being around the same people K-12 and they aren't accustomed to change.

Happy birthday

Personally I hate them but I might as well conform to the "happy" prefix society expects of me.

9 months. Is that a fairly decent length of time for a relationship in HS?

I would say if you stuck around for the baby it sure is.  :P Just kidding, but it does seem to be a decently long time.

Nine months is a lifetime in high school. Be proud. You either had a good relationship or a stale one.

It was good in the beginning..it started going stale around april, and then i got sick of it and broke it off cuz she lost her feelings for me and I didn't want to have a one way relationship. It was the hardest thing Ive ever had to do in a very long time, and I'm not sure if it was a good decision or not. I'm not allowed to regret it (she said so herself, we're still friends, and im trying very hard to distract myself from her), and we're pretty sure we wouldnt have been able to get it back up again...she just lost it  :( But it was my fault that she lost it. Thats whats hurting me the most right now.

Well learn from your mistakes and make sure not to repeat whatever it was that made things go stale when you get another girlfriend. You just have to view relationships gone stale like a wounded animal destined to die.. you know it's going to die, so you might as well put it out of it's misery before things start to become really tormenting and painful.

From what I know about things, I honestly think you made a good decision that was in the best interests for both of you.

I mean, if you had stayed with her longer.. it would have really hurt you more in the end, and there was no hope in getting her to have those feelings for you again so you should have no regrets, it happened and it was inevitable.

you guys act like highschool is the only thing that matters in life!! What about life and living and having fun and finding yourself. Im 22 and I love my life. Life is what you make it. life is not your friends, or your job or your house. Its who you are....you're the only person you have at the end of the day so until you figure that part of life out you're going to be very unhappy.
