These forums operate faster, actually.  It takes less CPU.  Thanks, PHP.  There may be more graphic content which would slow you guys down, but for me--these are even faster than before! =D

It won't matter soon, if I can ever get YaBB working on the new site.

I find the page loads for getting back to the main page and posting a reply much faster than the old YabbSP1-gold, but the speed seems unchanged when opening up a thread.

Also its kinda weird how after you make a reply it takes you right back to the general discussion page.

I'm going to put the SQL database on the new server soon.  This should even further enhance performance.  Still guys, I share this 2GHz server with other websites.  I get the feeling I am the 96th person on this server.

SQL server is now on the new host.  You should notice a huge speed boost now.  This doesn't mean you should start babbling on now, since I have only x MB of bandwidth each month.  If the trend is anything like on my web server, it will be plenty.  If we get wasteful, however, things might change.  I can spare 190MB of transfer per day--no more.

particle did a really nice thing to move the forums and stuff onto the new web host, so besides benefiting us he has helped himself unclog is line a little =).  and particle, i do have a few ideas to help u block off that thing u asked about =), i am still willing to spill some pretty well kept secrets about it (at a price, =D, lol).
