GMod9: A Nuclear Claymore
« on: April 28, 2006 08:39 am CDT »
I was experimenting with incorporating a basic nuclear principle into GMod yesterday.  Only, instead of plutonium I had to use barrels--and I was making a giant claymore.  So, I guess that makes it kind of like a giant conventional explosives nuclear claymore of doom.

If you want to see the antics (I had problem after problem with controls and props), here's a four and a half minute video.  I think it's worth it in the end, when it finally does explode.  :)

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

I thought that a very high quality video might be appreciated among all the crap on the Internet.  If you can't play it (or it's choppy for you), I'll make a quarter-size 800x600 version for you.

The 4Mbps 800x600 version is coming...just be patient.  Every source frame is 5.49MB.  It takes a while to process.

It isn't your card that's to fault.  It's more likely your CPU.  It'll just about peg an Athlon 64 @ 2.2GHz.

Smaller version available soon.  It's encoded, it just has to upload.
