I was kind of bummed when I found out (3 months) after buying my Mac that they were rumore dto be planning a non PPC chipset (x86) and then... when they confirmed it in the spring I was all like "cry" and stuff.. hmm.

Anyway... I am glad they FINALLY made the change toward these more power efficient and cooler running systems.

This also enables hacking of programs to work on all platforms much better... which I am also excited about! :-)

2 tribes shortcuts could mean one for tribes and one for -mod RPG, or one for normal tribes and one for lasthope, or one for normal tribes and one for happymod =)

I have one icon on my desktop..  the recycle bin.  Everything else is in the quicklaunch or on my start menu.  Desktop shortcuts are laggy and pointless..  one click to start menu or quicklaunch and you've got access to anything you want.

sorry i dont use my computer for ordering stuff from ZANZEBAR ZOMG. just tribes chatting and ebay mostly. and yes ones for tribes and other is rpg WATCH OUT

Here's my desktop with XGL goodness.  I can't capture the wobbly windows, fade effects, or cube effect with screen capture, so you'll just have to use your imagination.



And here is my setup.  Recent additions are the Logitech X-530's that I bought yesterday and the Koolance Exos (v1.0) water cooling kit.  Currently, only VGA is hooked into the loop, but I will soon add a cpu waterblock to get rid of the screamer intel stock cooler.

I would also like to add that the refrigerator is stocked with Heinekin, Dos Equis, and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.  The computer is networked to downstairs using a Linsys Powerline adaptor.  The monitor is soon to be replaced with a Samsung 204B-Black Black 20.1" 5ms LCD Monitor.
