Take the battery out and leave it totally dead for 15 minutes.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

i would imagine on the videos you would have to find a way to remove the top silver casing from the bottom part. I have an iPod mini, so I have no idea how to do it on mine.

Hold the menu button down for awhile.  That restarts the ipod.

I'd much rather have my PocketPC for that kind of money.  It runs windows, has a 624MHz processor, wifi, bluetooth, a 4 inch VGA LCD...seems like a much better value for the dough.

An ad?  Also, I actually do enjoy playing Quake or Quake 2 when I'm waiting on people.  It's great for music, movies, music videos, games, works as my calculator, acts as a voice recorder, lets me chat over MSN Messenger, browse the web, print, take notes, keep important events, and even read eBooks.  It's faster than a desktop at what it does and goes a good four hours with the standard battery.  You can buy one that lasts twice as long, though.

It cost me $430 last year.  It's a good value.

I owned the Jornada 520 4 years ago.  It was a pretty pocket PC, only cost $150.  It wasnt very powerful, though, with only a 133mhz SH3 processor and 16mb of ram.  Buuut, I was able to play a little quake on it.

I miss that thing.  I still have it, but it doesnt charge.  Only bad thing I can really say about it was that it would reset itself, thus all data stored directly to the machine would be lost, thus I had to make backups to the CF card daily.
