ess.tv is gone...:-(

for the past few months I have been supplementing my entertainment time with ess.tv, who provided streams of niche shows like MST3k, Star Trek TNG, DS9 and Voy, Family Guy, Simpson, CSI, etc, even some old british comedies like Python and the Young Ones.

Once again the AOL Time warner served them with a Cease and desist.  They aren't gonna fight, they just shut down.  That sucks.

So find them on BitTorrent. I have seasons 1 thru 7 of Star Trek TNG, seasons 1 thru 3 of the original series, etc. Family Guy and Simpsons are also popular on BT.

It's not the same...

there's something inherently cool in free or reletively cheap steaming internet content. I would've rather watched it streaming than dl the eps of shows.  No storage woes.
