Abydos was an ancient city in Egypt, similarities to Star Gate are coincidental as the general theme of this quest comes from Egyptian mythology.

Abydos is an ancient Egyptian city, believed to be the burial place of the Scorpion King (yes, the one from the movie)

I found the gate and all I got was this lousy T-Shirt!


LOL....actually I got 3 levels which were immediately removed because it started to force remort me.


On a side note:  I gave raw Keldrinite and a KLS away recently to some noobs.  I've been holding onto it for close to 2 years.

Hmm.. I find it hard that keldrinite is so hard to get?

My old character (2 years back) had around 12 in his bank, if I remember right.. and I too just ended up giving them to new people.. or selling them.

Is it no longer a mineable resource?

It's only mineable if you're close to level 1500 (which no one is). It is occassionaly given out as quest rewards, but most players turn it in to KLS or K-Armor when they get the chance.

Never seen a speck of keldrinite. evar.  If you want people to participate, it should be easier to get.

I asked the Warmaster what he wanted and he said he had all he needed.
