NFY has been a little out of control for the last few days.  I can't explain why, but he fails to take the hint that I'd prefer him to just shut up until his mood passes.  If you were looking forward to talking to him again, you might need to use an instant messenger for the time being.  He will continue to get banned and his new accounts deleted.  The next time, I will unfortunately have to take up his disregard for the terms of these free online services with his ISP.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

I'm more or less depressed

You just need a good project to work on.....oh wait....

You're actually more correct than your sarcasm implies that you believe you are.  Once we all get started on this thing, that'll give me something to do.  I'm just bored as hell...nothing to really make me feel like I'm doing anything worth while.

youre bored as hell yet you wont make any updates to the server? i thought you said you were busy and couldnt get to it?

It's kind of shifted as of late.  I went from having too much to do to having nothing to do.  The less on my plate the less I feel like doing anything else, either.  heh

sad is what i think it is. you have the most popular server where people play at and theres other servers out there that listen to what people say and do something about it. it doesnt take a year to see an update or when they dont feel like being lazy. and im not the only one who feels like this. ask any of the gods.

That isn't how the PCRPG server has ever worked.  Why would you suddenly expect it to conform to that system of operation?

Perhaps you didn't notice the release I did during the summer.  I took in a lot of input about what people wanted and some ideas of my own, worked an entire weekend making it happen, and then released it.  It fixed a lot of bugs people were annoyed with, and it also added some neat stuff.

If you have forgotten all that was done, please refer to this URL:

So the kick bug is fixed? NOT!  You still do NOT get kicked when you have the wrong password.  The other "neat stuff" was either for admins or bugs. It wasn't something players really cared about. The only good thing that I can think of lately is having the caverns.

I'm not really trying to bash the server. If i didn't like it I wouldn't play.

I would be playing now, except....

:x
Arghhh!
In their infinite wisom, the corporate branch of my company has blocked the ports which Tribes uses.  I can no longer indulge at work, whilst I sit twiddling my thumbs waiting for ghost images to transfer or building new systems to corporate standard, or what I'm doing now....sitting and waiting for Iron Mountain to deliver my backup tapes!  I can't even ping for new servers.

Hey is ther a key logger on this system?  if there is...write me an blank email with the word "PooP" as the subject.

(That msg was for the corporation, not you guys)

Kick was fixed and tested after loading the patch to the server.  It worked fine.

Also, I don't care if you want to complain about something.  However, you will do it respectfully if you want to continue posting here.
