Why?  Normal PvP negates the necessity for such a place.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

that would be fun to have an arena or something like that with Kevlar Walls to do not go offmap :P

Yeah, PvP isn't a whole lot of fun when you can't inflict massive damage due to flying off map/going through walls. Unfortunatly, I don't think we can make a bash proof area to prevent that. What might be cool is if being inside a PvP arena would set each player's healing to 0 and their health to more reasonable (and even) numbers. Then just rely on slashing and casting to decide winners.

maybe put triggers around the walls that set your velocity to 0 0 0.  That "might" work.

Well the problem with that is that it will require mod edits, and even then high level bashes might be just too fast. If you're going too fast you can't even pick up a pack. What would be really awesome is if admins had an #oncollision command that could be used on dis objects. If you set up a buffer zone outside the main arena with, say, iblocks, even if they fly through it they should still take some damage and we can 'fell' them back into the arena based on that collision.

all in all we need to have a fight club particle so people can chose to kill nubs or duel other people

But for bashing, you need something like the uber field, i notice at the uber field you cant bash people off the map as often (as much) do to map details and lil folds on the map.

If you dont really feel like doing it tho, just add the biggest flat structure u can find with some really thick circular walls so you dont exactly bash someone out. (Something like DZ but it needs more room)

we could re-create the hole of uber zone and add wall and a top to make sure that we don't go offmap

There's a duel spot we used to use by traveler's den.  We called it "The Bowl".  If you get bashed there, it will send you either straight up in the air or at the worst at a 45 degree angle.

I've set up an Event Arena which manages to contain most bashes, but there are a few weak points. Working on a viable solution for sword duels, now.

actually....there are spot where u dont go offmap...
near fort ethren theres one...near cave too...
just look up spots where you have a lower ground part surrounded by lil hills...
I've been having 5k bashes fights and I used to fight there with megatron untill he quit
and non of us went offmap and we both bash for 5k
putting some extra walls to not fly away would be cool but ok you will fly off if you have a mid air fight
