Badazz.  Well, I'm not going to play it until the full version is released.  The second alpha was too hard to install, so I just gave up.  Hope they supply the beta users with better installation instructions.

All you need to do is extract the zip into the Tribes2\GameData folder...

I reformatted my comp 2 days ago anyway.  I might play trpg2, but...  What would really be cool is if we could transfer out trpg characters to t2rpg.  that would be cool.

Ya cant take your char with you if thats what you mean.. they are going to be linked servers, Just like in TRPG V6.0
You can take a teleporter to a new server if you like. And the beta is worth getting  i got it a week ago and the visuals are amazing.

Celtic, you are a dumbass

You can't link with servers in Tribes like that unless they are all on the same network.

T2 it is possible because you could have the server request information on an internet database, but if someone gets in (which I wouldn't doubt knowing the dev team) everything gets forked.

Besides they WOULDN'T do anything like that unless they had options to turn that database off.. Lets face it, if that is the case, then you can make your own phony character on your server and you can get in on any server..

I am against transfers.. Sure you may have worked your way, but look at the facts. You could have been on a server where an admin jacked you up, or you oculd have been on a server where noone fights with anyone allowing easy leveling.

The only original member of the server still active and the staunchest supporter of the administration and Particle's rules.
4th in doghouse. Last in actual server and forum rules broken.

actually oz, your WRONG!  lol, i just like to say that.  but anyways, you could technically hook together tribes servers, all u do is give the client a script that allows the server to disconnect him and reconnect him to a new server, wouldn't really be hard...

eViL, you were probably the coolest but most misunderstood person in this community.. maybe the rest will find out how cool of a person you are some day, and don't get too mad at the people who dont understand you.. its their loss in the end.
